Diversity & Inclusion has always been an integral part of the SAVW culture. In alignment with the group target of Diversity wins training , India team is on the verge of completing the training where 99% Managers have already been trained with LAB I & LAB II.
One element of a truly diverse workforce is of course gender balance and there has been specific focus on inspiring young women to consider a career within the Volkswagen Group/SAVW. Moving further in this direction, SAVW India recently launched a very ambitious project, “EmpowerHer” for empowering its women workforce and developing them to become future leaders. The program went live with its first batch of 10 female participants in the presence of the Managing Director Gurpratap Boparai who was also joined by the Executive Director-HR & Admin Jan Frydrych on 21st April, 2021.
To further promote Diversity, the focus will be on recruiting females across the organization.
